Milestones are more than just numbers on a calendar; they are markers of transformation, self-discovery, and bold new adventures. When Sammara traveled from Mexico City to Playa del Carmen to celebrate her 40th birthday, she arrived ready to honor a pivotal moment in her life.
She chose our Gold Package and picked our bold Hot Pink flying dress—which came as no surprise once we saw her step out onto the path. From her travel tote to her personal accessories, every detail reflected her signature shade. Hot pink isn’t just a color for Sammara; it’s her joyful, unapologetic signature.
We met at our favorite coastal stretch, Playa Punta Esmeralda, right at 7:00 AM as the day began to break. Joining me as my assistant for this special morning was Carolina—a close friend of many years and an accomplished fellow photographer. Whenever our schedules align, we love collaborating on set, bringing a shared creative rhythm that helps our clients feel completely supported.
Nature put on a private show just for Sammara. As the sun peeked above the open ocean, the horizon gifted us an extraordinary palette of soft purples and violet tones. It almost looked as though the sky had been custom-painted to harmonize with the vibrant magenta fabric floating on the breeze.
Between waves and fabric tosses, Sammara shared pieces of the exciting journey ahead. She was in the middle of preparing for a major international move to Mallorca, Spain, to pursue her Master’s degree. To make the season even sweeter, she had recently crossed paths with an incredible Spanish partner during a course—though, as we joked on the beach, we promised to keep those romantic little details between friends!
Her radiant energy carried through every single frame. When we sent her private pre-selection gallery so she could choose the 20 included images from her Gold Package, she couldn’t bear to leave any memories behind. She upgraded her package to take home all 60 edited high-resolution images, along with the cinematic behind-the-scenes video of her morning on the sand.
A few days after delivering her final gallery, Sammara sent a message that touched our entire team deeply. She wrote:

That single sentence is why we wake up before dawn and stand in the ocean tides. It is so easy in daily life—between work, routines, and life changes—to overlook our own light.
